WHO AM I
I'm a TFA Alumni and current Fulbright ETA teaching in South Korea for the next year. While in Korea, I'm hoping to learn more about educational inequity, otherness, and become a better teacher in a mega-challenging setting.
Teaching in Bushwick, Brooklyn for the past 2 years has been the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life so far. I have learned so much about what it means to teach, have relationships with students, and fight for justice in a systematically injust system.
As I embark on this new journey, I'm hoping to explore a forgeign educational system, grow as a culturally responsive teacher (even in an entirely new culture!) and simply explore this great big world. I know enough to know I don't know much and I'm wholeheartedly excited to learn!
